Hello!
This is what I wore to meet up with Beatrice at the flea market on Sunday. We took photos for each other after we shopped. The flea market is actually held at the community college where I take some night classes, but even so, I did not know this yellow thing was there. I was originally wearing bows in my hair but when I found this straw hat for only $3, I immediately wanted to wear it and it went with my outfit. I'm still not sure if this straw hat looks good on me, but I figured for only $3 bucks, it's worth trying and it's big enough to fit my huge head. Beatrice recommended me to tie a ribbon around it so I think I'll just have to do that, but which ribbon color to choose?! I can't wait to get to the craft store. I have some DIYs in mind: one of them being making myself a floral headband.
I've been in living in my newest shirt from Madewell. It's so incredibly comfy. It's like a sweatshirt in a cute, stylish disguise. I finally have a red t-shirt so I can add my favorite pop of color to any bottoms I choose. The weather has been gorgeous lately. Mid 70 degrees is my favorite kind of day. It makes me want to spread out a blanket, have a picnic, and read a good book.
Until next post,
Jasmine

ReplyDeleteHi Jasmine! I stumbled upon your blog and read your About section and had to comment! I went to UCI for the Teaching Cred/Masters program 3 years ago and I'm currently a 1st grade teacher. :) Love your Marais flats, by the way!
ReplyDeleteI've been desperately searching for super comfortable tops. Because I found one, and I can't stop wearing it... Love the simplicity and the lovely little bow necklace. Not to mention, that hat is a perfect steal for $3.00. It'd be so much fun to constantly be tying different scarves and ribbons on it :)
