Hello!
This is probably the most anticipated outfit of the trip. So many of you said you couldn't wait to see what I ended up wearing to go clubbing for the first time. Well this is it! Sorry for the poor quality photos--they were taken in the hotel bathroom. Classy, I know. But look there's Charlie Sheen!

I find that real blazers look a bit odd on me. I'm more of a cardigan girl. I'm pretty self-conscious when I wear tank tops with my jiggly arms so finding a sweater blazer while in Vegas couldn't have come at a better time. A normal cardigan would've looked a bit awkward with this outfit, but this one really just brings everything together. I'm still so in love with the top even though it is a tank: The ruffles are of a chiffon material and it's just so light and dreamy. I'll have to find ways to wear it casually so you can see it better. I really want the cream version, but the trip to Vegas and Christmas shopping has taken such a huge chunk out of my bank account that I really shouldn't shop for myself for a long while.

Clubbing was a ton of fun! Drinks were expensive, but it was so nice to dance with Robert since we haven't done that since winter formal in high school. We went to XS at Encore. I was the most conservative girl there. Most of the girls didn't even wear tights, let alone a cardigan over their outfit. But...this is my version of club wear and I still felt good. I ended up liking my outfit a lot and the guy checking my ID wished me a happy birthday so it was a good night. It was really fun trying something new. I don't think I've ever had so much black in an outfit before or something shiny like my skirt. I also put on a bit of make up for the first time: just a bit of concealer, mascara, and some lip gloss. Dressing up is so much fun! I'll have to find reasons to do it more often. Maybe New Year's Eve.

Until next post,
Jasmine

  3. Omg this is EXACTLY what I imagined you'd be wearing when you went clubbing (or something close to it)! You look so adorable! Haha I bet you were the chicest (most chic?) girl at the club; those girls without tights have nothing on you. LOL I'm glad you were able to wear something dressy and club-worthy while maintaining your own personal style! Yay clubbing! Can't wait to go to Vegas when I turn 21!

P.S. Uh Charlie Sheen in your bathroom? That's a little disturbing. LOL!!!

  5. Love your clubbing outfit :) That's how I like to dress when going out. I'll be in Vegas next April for the first time (I'm from Australia) and I'm panicking over what to wear :( Definitely going to take my cue from you. Hope you have a merry christmas x

  7. How appropriate that Charlie Sheen is trapped in the bathroom, eh? lol. Anyways, I absolutely love your outfit. I think the tights give the look a more flirty look since they have a sheer and opaque pattern.

  8. Jasmine I think you look fabulous in your going to town outfit! It's fancy and sassy and navy looks so beautiful on you! Your skirt is super cute and you probably looked a thousand times cuter and more original than most of the people at Encore!

Your Vegas vacation sounds like a dream! My favorite part of traveling with a boy is snuggling up in bed and watching movies!

  12. Okay, I just need to start this comment by saying that I literally "loled" at "But look, there's Charlie Sheen!" What a strange place for a picture of him!
Anyway, you look so lovely! This is such an elegant and fun club outfit! I love your skirt :)

  15. Jasmine... I am totally digging this look on you. I know it's not "you", but it totally works for you. I hope this outfit is the first to many more outfits like it in the future. You are amazingly cute not matter what you have on, but this is just oh so chic!

I miss Vegas, but only because my BFF is there.

    Happy Holidays Jasmine!

    xx Love & Aloha
