Hello!
I knew when I got these shoes I would name this post "In Her Shoes," since these shoes were thrifted. So anyway here they are...my first pair of heels ever. Sorry if they're anti-climatic, but I think it's a good start. It was so hard taking photos in them though. It was my first time with heels on outside of the house. I nearly fell down the stairs trying to get out the door. I'm not sure how I'm going to dance the night away in Vegas when I barely survived half an hour of walking back and forth from the tripod to the wall. Seriously, how do you ladies do it?!
I broke my unofficial F21 boycott when I finally found some basic, solid dresses there! I tend to stray away from F21 things since they're not of the best quality and I can't stand the messy store; but I have been craving basic dresses just to slip on and to dress up/down for months now. I also got it in black, but I think I'm going to go back and get the other two colors too. Sleeved, solid color dresses are so hard to find; and at $11.50 what is there to lose? I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing this dress to a holiday party over the next few weeks. F21 also had a good bow selection that day so I couldn't help myself in getting 3 new pairs and a headband. Oy, I hope I'm not being sucked back into overbuying their seemingly-cheap-but-add-up-to-be-a-fortune-and-up-being-donated-within-months things.
Tomorrow (or today depending on when you read this) is my blog's first birthday! How perfect is it that I found a Happy Birthday cupcake decoration in my photo spot that also happens to match my outfit? :) What an amazing ride it has been so far! I hope to do a flashback-kind of post and maybe a giveaway if I can find something in Vegas for you all when I get back, but just know that I am truly thankful for all of you!
I must be getting back to studying now! I'll try to post once more before I leave, but no guarantees!
Until next post,
Jasmine

Aww such a pretty little outfit! I love that it's both fun and sophisticated. And the heels are pretty much what I expected from you: basic black and in a "walkable" height! Don't worry Jasmine you'll get the hang of it! (:
