Boyfriend's Choice

Hello!
Yesterday, I didn't know what to wear so I told Robert to choose an outfit for me. I would've waited a bit longer to debut this striped top, especially since I wore its navy and red cousin in my last post, but Robert chose this top and this skirt. All the accessories just fell into place after. Every time I wear this hat, it makes me so happy knowing that there's a huge pom pom on top of my head. While this outfit isn't too revolutionary, I think I'm going to let him pick outfits more often. It'll be fun to see how his choices change over time.

Life has definitely slowed down quite a bit since I put in my two weeks notice for my movie theater job. My last day there is this Sunday, and goodbye has never been so bittersweet. Over the two and a half years, my coworkers and I have become a family; at times, I did see them more than my actual family. This was my very first job and I couldn't have asked for a better one. At the same time, we were overworked and underpaid (but so goes the story of every minimum wage job), and I am so glad to have my weekends back again. I'm going to take some yoga classes, take my time running errands, watch some mindless marathons on TV, and just relax like a normal person does on weekends; well except the next two weekends, when I'll be studying for finals. I am so ready for winter break! There is so much to look forward to: Vegas trip with Robert, Christmas, after-Christmas shopping, hanging out with friends, New Year's Eve, etc.

Until next post,
Jasmine

outfit: striped top and tights -- gap; belt -- anthropologie; skirt -- j crew; flats -- topshop; hat -- f21

  1. Cute outfit - Robert has great fashion sense! I love this striped top and can hardly tell that it's the same as the navy/red one ;)

  7. Haha love Robert's styling, you and he clearly have a similar mindset when it comes to that :) Aww I know what you mean, I took a semester off from work and it felt kind of bittersweet too (but I'm back there now), but it's probably for the best! Yay for weekends! Ugh, I wish winter break started right NOW!
