This will probably be my last post before I'm off to New York. Ahh! I can't believe I'll be on a plane in less than 40 hours! Our flight leaves from Orange County at 10:30 in the morning, then we're making a connecting flight in San Francisco, and from there we'll arrive in New York at 11pm eastern time. I do hope nothing gets delayed, or worse--cancelled, due to the crazy snow storms on the news...*knocks on wood*
The weather here has been so bipolar, seriously. Saturday--rain, Sunday and Monday--clear skies, Tuesday--rain, and today--clear skies. It made me sick! I really just wanna chug down this whole bottle of cough syrup so I can be all better before Friday. I'm kind of nervous about the snow in New York because I've never really experienced snow before...It'll be so much fun though--a white Valentine's Day!
(wearing: black bow tank top, black v-neck t-shirt, blue jacket -- forever 21; gray tights -- walmart; teal oxfords -- urban outfitters; pink bow -- h&m)
I'm really trying to save my "good" clothes for New York. That and I am doing laundry tonight so all my striped tops were dirty. My "top" is actually two shirts--one tank top (the bow) and one v-neck t-shirt. The tank top was way too low to wear just on its own, so I made it look like it was a black t-shirt with a bow on it! ;] I think it worked out, which is good because I love this graphic bow print!

I haven't even really started packing for New York...Robert has been taking me shopping this week and told me I could buy one thing for our trip, but it's weird that I haven't seen anything appealing to me. I'm a little freaked out because tomorrow is our last day to shop and I don't think anything in my closet right now will be decent enough to wear among these fantastic bloggers. It's times like these that I wish I knew how to make my own clothes, because I know what I want (a huge chunky knit scarf, a duffle coat, and some kind of shirt that doesn't seem to exist...), it's just not appearing in real life. Blah, hopefully tomorrow will be a successful shopping day. It just has to be.

I'm not sure what the point of this post is. I think I'm just posting for the sake of posting. Even Robert told me that I haven't updated in a while...Sorry for all the photos that aren't mine (oh how I've missed you Tumblr!). There just hasn't been time for me to take photos other than my outfits and even those are scarce nowadays. But I promise I will more than make up for it in New York! I am so excited for the photos! Oh but I did want to tell you that...I got that wedding gig, as the main photographer!! I'm meeting with the happy couple next weekend and their wedding is on March 6th. Everything is moving sooooo quickly! I just wish life would slow down a little so I could enjoy all these good things.
So...thank you for reading all that rambling...I will try to update on Friday night with pictures from the airports and from the subway ride to our hotel! Wish me luck!
Until next post,
Jasmine
PS. Thank you to Annie for the blog award :) I'll do the seven random facts on my next post. I have so many hours on the plane to think about them! I can't wait to meet you!

So exciting, I hope you have lots of fun and do lots of shopping and eating and picture-taking in NY, and just absorb the environment and experience. Sounds like so much fun! I know how it is to go shopping and find the sweetest things only at UO or so with no lower cost stores, I love UO and i always have to resist myself because the prices there. Mostly I look at there sales. Also mostly the skirts from UO make my hip look wider the same Charlotte russe. I like your blog! You are so sweet! I am a new follower.
