Oh hello!
I see you've caught me in my non-blogging uniform. I'm still in my rut so I decided to just bite the bullet and finally do my jeans post. I can now check it off of my style resolutions list. It has taken a long time for me to get to this point. Before I started my weight loss journey, jeans scared me. I was scared to pull on jeans and have them not fit. So for five long years, I abandoned them completely. Until a few weeks ago. I have missed the simplicity and easiness of jeans. So many things go with them! This is definitely my favorite way to wear jeans--with a striped tee and a red cardigan. I tried these boyfriend jeans just for fun and loved them when I put them on in the dressing room. I didn't walk away with them the first time, but all that night I thought about them, so I picked them up the next day. Now I want to find the perfect pair of cropped trousers.
I have the first of my teaching credential exams this Saturday so I probably won't be back until Monday, but I am guest blogging at a dear friend's blog over the weekend so look forward to that! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Until next post,
Jasmine
YOU. ARE. WEARING. JEANS. AHHHH. I had a mini-panic attack (in a good way) :). I adore the little coral coloured cardigan to add that perfect splash of colour, and YES STRIPED TEES FTW. I'm glad you went back and got these boyfriend jeans because you're most definitely rockin' them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, can we talk about your shoes, again? I want them. Do you think you chould shrink them down to a size 5? :)
GOOD LUCK WITH THE EXAM, KICK BUTT. I know you can!
P.S. Cropped trousers rule, they make everything look polished, but still casual at the same time. That probably made no sense, but then again, when do I make sense?
You look great Jasmine!
ReplyDeleteBefore I lost weight I didn't like going shopping because everything I put on didn't fit or look right.
Once things start working for you you get the confidence to keep going with your weight-loss journey without getting discouraged.
Keep it up! You look great and I'm sure you feel great, mentally and healthily, as well.
you look great in jeans! can't wait to see how you style them again in the future! ;) Xx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Jasmine! Those jeans look FANTASTIC on you! Is it ridiculous that when I saw the first photo I exclaimed in my head "Oh my gosh, Jasmine's wearing pants!"? This is a lovely, casual look, and I love how you cuffed the jeans. Looking awesome as always :)
ReplyDeleteYay jeans! I haven't posted any jeans pictures of myself either, yet. Also, I'm loving those Zara sandals! I feel like they will be so great for summer- I need to find some!

ReplyDeletethis is a really good looking outfit. i have such a hard time finding jeans because, to be honest, my behind is so large that i cannot get jeans to fit me both in the bum area and the waste! this is especially true if they are low rise jeans. lol sometimes i think i should search out a pair of house of derion jeans. anyway, you look awesome.

My eyes literally got wider and my jaw literally dropped when I saw this blog post. You're wearing jeans and you're ROCKING THEM. I love this pair of boyfriend jeans on you - it's so casual but so chic at the same time. Your non-blogging uniform is still ridiculously blog worthy. :)

Those jeans look GREAT on you! I've always had a love/hate relationship with jeans... although mostly, it's been hate. Maybe I should try the boyfriend jean!
ReplyDelete& congrats on your weight loss so far!
;]
You look great in jeans! I love this look : ) It's something we don't typically see here (which isn't a bad thing) but I love it!
ReplyDeleteOk, so I totally don't know you, but I do know Emily, aka The Daily Fashionista. I decided to scroll through your blog to catch up (I read, but don't comment). What are you talking about with all this weight loss stuff?!?! Seriously, you are totally friggin' adorable. And you always look so shy in your pictures; you need to own your prettiness. I wish I could pull off the looks that you create. Incredibly jealous. Own what you have, love yourself, and work it Girl!
