Over the weekend, after I finished shopping for interview clothes, Robert and I took a spontaneous trip to the beach, which was much needed because I was so stressed and cranky from the month of fieldwork and the anticipation of my graduate school interview tomorrow. The beach never fails to lift my spirits and remind me of just how lucky I really am. Even though the beach is within 15 minutes of me, I've never taken it for granted. It will forever be my favorite place. I must've seen hundreds of sunsets from this same spot at this beach, but sunsets are different everyday, and so hundreds more will never be enough.
Do you have a favorite place to go? If yes, where is it?
Until next post,
Jasmine

Love these photos, I wish I could say my beach was 15 minutes away, at least one that's as amazing as yours! LOOK AT THE SAND (Canadian right here).
ReplyDeleteMy favourite place is my BED. True story. No matter what awful day I've had, it's so nice to just curl up in bed, and stare out the window... or watch tv shows on my laptop.
Good luck with your interview Jazzy! I'll be sending you good vibes from Vancouver xo :)
These images are so lovely! I'd love to be able to visit the beach easily, the sunset is beautiful. My favourite is the image of the balloons and the footprints glistening in the sand :)

ReplyDeleteGood luck on your grad school interview!

That balloon picture is fabulous! I love to go to a coffee shop so I can just sip my warm coffee and people watch. It's just relaxing and comforting. Plus it's fun to hear other people's interesting conversations sometimes.
