Hello!
I am in absolute love with my new lace top (even though I do have to wear a tank underneath). It's blush pink--my new favorite color to wear this Spring. This top seems to go great with a lot of things--practically all my bottoms, and I can't wait to wear it underneath dresses so I don't need to wear cardigans on hot summer days. I thought I'd pair it with my mustard yellow skirt first. There may not be many more days with this skirt in my closet. A lot of my skirts are getting a bit too loose. I definitely have to wear belts with them. I officially made it to the 20-pound mark this past Sunday! I've been getting some questions about my weight loss journey so far so I think I'll be doing a post on it soon. I'm 1/3 of the way to my goal weight, so here's to the next 20 pounds!

Shopping has definitely become more fun now that I've lost a bit of weight. Now that school is over, I'll have to clean out my closet to make room for the new smaller sized clothing I'll be getting. It'll be kinda bittersweet giving away the clothes that are too big because they were once my favorites, but I know I'm moving onto smaller and better things.

Until next post,
Jasmine

  5. I'm so happy for you, Jasmine! Don't give up and keep working at it--you'll be healthier and happier in no time! I thought I might give you a tip that might help. Since you're Asian like me, do you like to eat seaweed? I love to eat roasted seaweed for snacks: they're extremely low-calorie AND filling because of the fiber :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your weight loss :) I myself am dieting right now (not one of those crazy starving diets, though, have one prescribed by a nutritionist :)) and know how hard it can be sometimes..

  11. Aw gosh, I've seen lots of peach and mustard together lately but no looks that I like as much as this. So cute!

And congrats on your weight loss journey. You're an inspiration- I've got far too lazy lately, and need to get my ass into gear too.

  13. How do you manage to always look so lovely?!?!?! I absolutely adore the soft color combination. Damn, I want a mustard skirt right here right now! And can I see more shots of the MBMJ purse, please? :)

By the way, CONGRATS ON HITTING THE 20-POUND MARK! I mean seriously, how did you do it? It's so hard for me to just lose a pound. I feel so discouraged! hahahaha :D

  17. Oh big big congratulations! I'm happy that you're taking this journey into healthier living and healthier habits with as much care as you have been. You are always beautiful and adorable of course, but it just makes me happy to know that you've set a goal for yourself and have gone about achieving it. That's certainly more than I can say for myself, and I will think of you tomorrow as inspiration for trying to take on some of my own goals. And that top is perfect! Pink lace--you can just never go wrong with it!
