Hello!
Not to sound narcissistic or anything...but I think I had a really good week of outfit posts this week! I partially attribute it to my decision to steer my life to being more healthy. The world just seems to be a better place after my morning bike ride. I even found a good spot for future outfit photos along a bike trail. I just use that time to think about things or nothing at all. I've also noticed that I'm a more patient teacher because of this change. I hope I can keep this up and that the nagging cravings for fast food will go away soon. I don't know how much longer I can say no to the McDonald's that's on my way to work everyday.

I really do love all the colors of this outfit: maroon, forest green, white, and grey. I'm really glad I decided to embrace Fall/Winter colors this past season, because even though California doesn't have seasons, I now feel like my outfits do! I impulsively bought these shoes while I was anxiously waiting for my Marais USA pair, but obviously once those arrived, I've been wearing them everyday since. I thought I'd give them a break and wear these. I'm infatuated with two-toned shoes at the moment so I think this purchase was one of the better impulsive buys (ie. I can actually use it). They just need a bit of breaking in.

Until next post,
Jasmine

PS. I have finally reached 300 followers :) Thank you! Giveaway most definitely coming up soon!

  6. If you ever want to do a joint-swap for the bow top and style one another's article of clothing before sending it back, I'd love to ;)

You're adorable as per usual and by the way, I've been totally loving your green cardigan. It's loved here in Missoula:)

  7. This is definitely one of my favorite outfits of yours lately - mainly because I adore all of the fall/winter colors you incorporated with those leggings and that cardigan! :)

morning bike rides definitely sound healthy and relaxing (better than running, haha). i always drive by places to take outfit pictures but i always choose really obscure places i'd never be able to get to :P

  8. You look great, and I agree with you on the colours - they work so well together. I'm glad you're getting into the routine of morning bike rides and eating healthy. Take it from me, it's hard in the beginning but totally worth it. Unfortunately the fast food cravings never really go away but you will become better at ignoring them! Have a great weekend :)

  10. I absolutely love these colors! The green and maroon are my favorite. I wish I wore my green, especially since it'd match my eyes. But I always go for blue haha.

  14. I agree, I love your outfits especially this week (not to take away from other weeks, they're all adorable)! The forest green cardigan goes so nicely with those maroon tights, and your shoes are cute!

Don't worry Jasmine, you can do it! Just resist eating at McD's and think of how far you've come already! I know it's hard, I crave McD's pretty often since it's right near my school.

  15. Congratz on reaching 300+ followers! On another note: I totally have that sweater and am going to pair it with one of my few flower print skirts tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration!

PS - I really need a pair of maroon tights. :D

  16. You've definitely mastered Fall-ish color combinations in the last few months. It's such a nice "evolution" of your style, because you've experimented a lot without really changing your style aesthetic. <3

Gah, I can never resist McDonald's. Just yesterday I was eating their Twister Fries and a friend said to me "That is pure evil". I replied with "I know" and simply continued eating. I really should make more effort to cut that out of my life!

Congrats on the 300 followers love! You deserve it more than anyone. (:

  17. Yay for a better living style! You always look great, Jasmine, but what's important is how you feel inside :) Keep up the good work! The only thing I can't resist from McDonalds is their Sausage Egg McMuffin :p

New shoes, huh? I love them!I love how they look like oxfords but they're much more feminine without the laces :)
