outfit: cropped tee -- h&m; dress -- victoria secret; shoes -- aldo; bow -- f21

Hello!
Yesterday, I felt like putting on something girly and floral-y. I think it's because subconsciously I wanted to wear my new shoes, even though I told myself I'd save them for Spring. When I saw these shoes at Aldo, "SPRING" screamed in my head with the crochet lace material (this was while Robert were telling my loafers were mom shoes). They look better without tights, but it was chilly and not quite bare-leg weather just yet. I have become obsessed with cropped tops lately. At $7, this super soft and comfy one from H&M will definitely be heavily used when it gets warmer and it didn't put a dent in my bank account (not unless I pick up the other colors hehe). It's just so easy to throw over dresses and skirts. I just might take my scissors and make some of my old striped tees into cropped tops so I can wear them. I'm pretty sure this outfit will be my uniform (sans tights of course) through out Spring, so get ready!

The long weekend has totally thrown me off and this week is really flying by! I almost forgot I had class tonight since I thought today was Tuesday. I have a fun weekend planned so I guess it's good that this week is short! My parents are leaving for vacation for a weeks so it's also my time to play! If only I had enough money to do something crazy...like go to New York for a few days while they're gone. Only in movies right?

Ask me questions here for my future Q&A vlog!

Until next post,
Jasmine

  3. what a cute spring outfit! I'm obsessed with crochet myself...saw some cute crochet flats over at alloy and I might have to get them...

while going to NY for a few days might not be realistic...you could TOTALLY make a huge tent in the living and camp out there...or something like that.

  4. Cute shoes! They totally do scream spring! And crop tops are fun, I haven't tried one yet but they look fabulous on you!

Whoot party! Haha maybe you can take a quick trip to Disneyland or something (I have no idea how far you guys are from Anaheim but I guess it's a weird assumption I make about all So Cal residents, that they have easy access to beaches and Disneyland).

  10. If you end up doing some crazy like going to NY for a few days, you know you've got somewhere to stay! ;)

I love all the pink in this look! I'm such a chicken when it comes to really girly colors and I love how you just go for it. The lace on those flats really are fantastic. And oh, boys, they'll never understand why we dress a little crazy sometimes. :P
