Dynamic Duo: Better Together

Photobucket

Hello!
That's right! Jen and I managed to squeeze in a Dynamic Duo post during the craziness of NYFW! We took these right after we woke up Sunday morning and before we hopped on the train to the Chictopia Conference. It was so much more fun doing the whole awkward process of setting up the tripod, nervously checking for people passing by, and posing when no one was looking together. It was a rainy Sunday morning, so no one was really there. We took these photos on Jen's university campus. I wish it weren't raining so we could've had more choices of locations, but it was and we were rushing to catch the 10:00 train. I still love how they turned out.

I'm retarded and got my D flipped backwards, but if Jen and I ever open up our own Dynamic Duo Donut shop, our logo would be this a la the famous Chanel logo. For my new readers, Jen and I started Dynamic Duo way back in February when she won my first giveaway. We were inspired by the Delightful Dozen to do a little collaboration of our own where we style the same item and post them together. That collaboration has turned into an amazing friendship that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. I miss her a lot and I'm already counting the days until we'll be reunited.

We've had these bow skirts for so long now! We've had them so long that we saw them go on sale for half the original price we paid for. I think we got them in the beginning of summer with our F21 floral dresses. I don't really know why it took us so long to get to these skirts since they are adorable, but I'm actually really glad we did because they are a bit on the shorter side, and now I can wear it during Fall and Winter with tights. I love the print, of course, and I can't wait to remix it! It even has pockets!

I was actually going to wear a navy top with this skirt but after I saw Jen slipping on a navy top, I opted for this lace tank, which I thankfully brought as a back up shirt in my suitcase. I actually brought this top with me last time I went to NYC, but it was way too cold for tank tops in the snow (what was I thinking?!). I think this just might be my favorite Dynamic Duo post just because we were together for this one! We're definitely better together.

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Until next post,
Jasmine

  18. I saw this skirt at UO and fell in love with it. However, my other shopping whims that day told my pocket book it couldn't bear another purchase. You look so lovely in yours that I wished I picked one up when I had the chance! (:
