Field Work

Sorry for the overload of pictures--I got really excited about this photo location! I know it's silly of me to be of jealous of other bloggers' photo locations when I live in such a beautiful city close to the beach, but sometimes I wish there were open fields, or grungy brick walls, or abandoned builings near me. Even though this outfit is so simple, I really loved it because it was so easy to put together and so easy to wear. I'm trying to stick to my blog resolution of letting the outfits and posts come naturally, so lately I've been dressing more for myself rather than for my blog. I've definitely fallen back into my stripes obsession. I need to get around to cleaning out my closet soon because a lot of my old striped tees are pretty out of shape. It's time to bring in a new batch, like this one from Gap that I also have in blue. This watch and this necklace are my new favorite go-to accessories at the moment. I went to the flea market over the weekend, looking for some fun accessories to start an arm party of my own. I only walked away with a simple ring though. It took me a long time to find a watch that I was comfortable with, so it'll take me a while to accumulate bracelets that I won't find bothersome.
