Out for Lunch

Hello!
A casual/not serious/useless post today since I'm still recovering from my cold, which is not easy when you're nursing a sore throat and yelling at working with kids everyday. But the honey green milk tea I ordered during lunch did help a bit. I love tea, probably more than I love clothes. For one, it's a lot cheaper than clothes; two, it's better for you than coffee; and three, it just tastes delicious hot or cold, sweetened or unsweetened, with or without milk, etc. I'm not narcissistic but Jasmine tea really is the best tea. I was on a black tea phase for the past month, but now I'm back to loving green tea. Oh wow...Did I just write a whole paragraph on my love for tea? Maybe it's just an Asian thing.

It has been a crazy week so far, and it's not even halfway over yet. I'm fighting a war on all fronts: at work dealing with parents, at school with all the work that's piled up, and at home with my own angry parents. It just feels like life is kicking me down when I'm already down. I promise to take a proper outfit photos and do a more "formal" blog post really soon. My photographer, aka Robert, recently resigned. Yet, another obstacle to get over...

Until next post,
Jasmine

outfit: striped top -- rodarte x target; floral skirt -- cotton on; bow -- etsy; tights -- f21; flats and belt -- topshop

  1. YUM I love tea too! I don't know if you guys have this down in SoCal, but there's this tea store called Lupicia (I think it's a franchise) which has a wide variety of delicious teas! Love that place! Haha sometimes sipping on tea can be relaxing, especially with a good book :) Or maybe British style with scones and pastries! Yum!

LOL yelling at kids. It's okay, I know kids need to be yelled out sometimes. And I too hate dealing with parents, especially at my job...which is all parents and kids :P

    Hang in there Jasmine!

  2. Mmm...The best tea is Tulsi tea! It's Indian I think, but it's suppose to be something that help rid your body of toxins and stress. Does wonders for my body. But green tea with milk sounds divine right now.

Here's the link to my tea:)

  3. Aw honey, I'm so sorry that everything is so crazy and stressful right now! Soon enough you will be through it and just concentrating on one or two things. I'm sorry to hear that Robert has resigned as your photographer, but you two do look mighty cute in this post! Doing tripod photos is kind of nice too...it really helps you get to know your camera and work with lighting. I hope things start looking up soon cutie pie!

  4. Jasmine, keep your head up! I'm sorry to hear about all of the at home/work drama. College is such a weird time. Why did Robert retire? Locate a tripod and a remote and you can totally do it yourself. Although I'm sure it's not a fun though......

  5. Why did he resign? I love this outfit even if you think it's just super casual! Try and keep your chin up, I know what it's like to feel like you're being attacked from all sides but I promise things will get better. They always do. Smile!

  9. Bwahahahaha... Asians do love their teas! I was on a green tea phase for the longest time (I liked to drink it at work) and now I'm on a black tea phase with milk :) But I 100% agree with you, JASMINE TEA is the best. The fragrant is beautiful and enticing. Which probably explains why I also love jasmine rice :p Maybe because I'm Asian. LOL!

By the way, why did Robert resign? I guess it's a personal thing, sorry for asking :(

Love the cute and warm outfit! And I love how you always match the hair bow with the outfit's color palette :)
