This is why I love California.

As much as I loved all the hustle and bustle in New York, I don't think I could ever give up the tranquility I feel when I smell the salty air and watch the sun set as waves rise and crash. It's sort of...comforting knowing that even something as mighty as the ocean has to fall at some point.

    Love these pictures Jasmine! They're so beautiful! Unfortunately the beaches in SF never look quite like this :( But I agree, CA feels more chill and relaxed than NY (even though I've never been).

    The beach is 15 mins. away and yet I hardly ever go. There is another beach within walking distance of my house but it gets crowded with cars. I will make it a point to go down there and get pictures for next months blog posts.

    Lovely photos.
    I've sadly given up California for a few more years in university over here in New England. But don't get me wrong, I lust over the beaches, and the nice weather pretty often... But then again I love my school. So its not so bad. :)

    Aww, Jasmine, these pictures are gorgeous! I'm especially loving the kite pictures. Now I'm craving a trip to California! :) And hey, there are plenty of beaches in Jersey (I promise they aren't all like the Jersey Shore, haha).
