With finals looming before me, I'm already making a list of things to do as soon as summer beings (10 more days!!!), including picnicking in a field and riding bikes in a cute sundress. I wish my head wasn't so big so I could buy a boater hat, but I think I'll just stick to bows. I also think that if I'm going to be the queen of stripes I need to go bolder like this red striped AA skirt.
While working on this post, my iTunes shuffled to "By the Sea" of Sweeney Todd and thought it went well with this post. This was one of my favorite scenes because she's basically proposing to him, but as you can see, he doesn't really care. If you haven't seen that movie, you're seriously missing out. I went into that movie not knowing it was a musical and was blown away by Johnny Depp's voice! I love his little romper in this shot too.
Until next post,
Jasmine

Aww thanks for including me Jazzy, you're so sweet! <333 I LOVE every single one of these. Really, really inspiring. And, ugh, I can't pull off a boater hat to save my life! Sob.
ReplyDeleteI keep raving about Sweeney Todd but no one else seems to get the movie's awesomeness! And yes, I especially love that scene! It was so different from the rest of the movie that it just stands out. Mrs. Lovett is disturbingly cute in nautical! Hahaha.
Great pictures, i love the last one, its adorable.

ReplyDeleteThese are all so lovely Jasmine! Haha I wish I had the perfect boater hat to wear while reading a book in a field :) All these pictures are so romantic, thanks for posting them! Ahhh I still have to watch Sweeney Todd! I love love love musicals and for some reason I haven't seen that film. I think it's because I'm a little hesitant towards the gore and whatnot.
ReplyDeleteoooh these pictures are all so dreamy! i would really like the striped AA skirt too, but it looks really short!
ReplyDeleteAw, these are all wonderful. Everyone looks so adorable! I love Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter for wearing carnival stripes (and also for both being batshit insane in the best way.)
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the hats, girl. My forehead is a tiny nothing of a forehead and hats always fall down and obscure my vision and then I look like a fool!
